USW: Early Modern Magick
Emperor Rudolf II
A man of many contradictions, Emperor Rudolf II was a patron of the arts, sciences, and the occult whose mismanagement of the empire is often cited as a major cause of the Thirty Years’ War.
For our purposes, the most relevant fact about him is his Wunderkammer, his notable cache of occult artifacts underneath his palace in Prague.
